Coach Chris is the Founder and Owner of Atmosphere Sports Development and serves as the organization’s Program Director and Head Coach. With over 12 years of experience coaching youth athletes in both basketball and volleyball, he has guided players from Grade 1 beginners to Grade 12 competitors—building strong fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and a lasting passion for sport.
Known for his detail-oriented, technique-first coaching style, Chris emphasizes proper mechanics, smart training habits, and consistent skill progression. His sessions are structured, energetic, and positive—creating an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and motivated to improve.
Over the course of his career, Coach Chris has worked with thousands of young athletes, helping them sharpen their skills, compete with confidence, and reach meaningful milestones—whether that’s making a school team, excelling in club sport, or preparing for the next level of competition.
Chris is committed to developing not only strong athletes, but also strong character. A central part of his coaching philosophy is learning from mistakes—teaching athletes that errors are a normal and valuable part of improvement. He encourages players to take smart risks, stay confident, and use each mistake as feedback to grow—building resilience, accountability, and a mindset that supports long-term success both in sport and in life.
As Program Director, Chris leads the overall program design and athlete development pathway—ensuring training is age-appropriate, progressive, and aligned with clear standards across all groups.
Chris also holds First Aid & CPR Certification and a current Vulnerable Sector Check, ensuring a safe, responsible, and trustworthy environment for every athlete and family.
